Hi, backers!
After a long and often hectic week of frantic taping and labeling, we've just finished shipping all of the rewards destined to U.S. addresses. Woo hoo! We worked hard to try to get all of your rewards to you in time for December 25th, and it looks like the vast majority of U.S. backers will get their rewards in time. A very (very!) small number of you may see your packages a tiny bit later than we'd hoped, but in any case your package is definitely on the way if you are in the States and have responded to the survey. Whew!
Our next step is to ship rewards to our patient backers overseas. We have partnered with Floship, a great fulfillment company based in Hong Kong, to help us ship orders as quickly as possible to backers in over 60 countries around the world. We are in the process of sending two pallets of (literally!) shiny HELIO units straight from the factory into Floship's warehouse. There may be a bit of delay due to holiday craziness in Hong Kong, but we expect Floship to hit the ground running and begin shipping your rewards next week. We'll do our best to keep you up to speed, so stay tuned.

Hi, Backers!
We are very excited to announce that the first pallet of HELIO units arrived at our headquarters today, and we brought all hands onto the deck to get these first units shipped out as soon as humanly possible! We were able to process and ship all of the units we received today, and about 400 of you should have units en route to you as we speak.
It was always our wish to get these rewards out to you before the December holiday, and for our backers with U.S. addresses, that goal seems to be within reach. We will be receiving another pallet on Monday, and two more of them on either Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on how quickly Santa Claus (DHL, actually) can deliver them to us. Delays may still arise along the way due to the high amount of shipping traffic this time of year, but we believe that if these next few pallets arrive on schedule we have a great shot at getting every domestically addressed unit out the door in time for the 25th!
We've taken some photos of the new arrivals, as well as of our hardworking crew preparing them for delivery to you. We hope you enjoy these first glimpses of your HELIO Kickstarter rewards.

Makers4Good is very pleased to share the following social good projects, accomplished through our caring non-profit partners, and funded through your HELIO purchase - a purchase with a meaningful purpose. Thank you for helping us bring light and power to those in need.
Providing a complete infrastructure installation of solar light and power to a large nonprofit hub in Tanzania. This installation will supply much need electricity to 16 individual nonprofits, all housed and working together to combat poverty and infant mortality, and to increase women's health, student education, nutrition levels, and more, for the greater local communities.
Providing an entire village in Guatemala with individual household solar systems, supplying light and power to every member in the community. (Village name and further details coming soon!)
